  5. Do you eat lunch here or go out?
  6. The First USA Cafeteria has a variety of different options for both breakfast and lunch at reasonable prices.  The prices are subsidized, making eating lunch at work delicious and affordable.  You can choose from a bagel, french toast, or a made-to-order omelet for breakfast and from a variety of salads, hot and cold sandwiches, pasta dishes and even sushi for lunch.  And, you can always eat for under $5.00!!  If you want a change in location once in a while, there are also a variety of different restaurants and sandwich shops within walking distance of all First USA locations.

  7. Do you have a gym?
  8. All First USA employees are eligible to use Baldy's Gym, our on-site state of the art fitness center.  For a membership fee of less than $200 per year, all employees have access to the treadmills, bikes, and specialty classes offered.  It is a great way to start our your day with some extra energy or to let out tension at the end of a busy day.  And, if you aren't interested in becoming a member or Baldy's Gym, you can still participate in any of the specialty classes on a cost-per-class basis.

  9. Where do you park?
  10. First USA provides parking in convenient lots near each location for all employees.  A portion of public transportation costs are also provided if you choose to take the train or bus instead of driving.

  11. Do you need a car in Wilmington?
  12. While it is not necessary to have a car in Wilmington, many First USA employees feel that it is nice to have.  There are ample methods of public transportation including buses and trains that can get you around Wilmington and to neighboring cities.  But, if you want the freedom of exploring the tri-state area on your own, a personal car would be a helpful addition.

  13. What do people do for fun?
  14. The great thing about Delaware is that there is so much to do both in-state and nearby.  In the spring, you can check out a Wilmington Blue Rocks game at Frawley Stadium, just minutes from First USA's corporate headquarters or in the summer, head down to Rehobeth and Dewey beach to catch some rays.  In the fall visit Baltimore's Inner Harbor or catch a Flyers game up in Philly, and in the winter, ski resorts are less than 3 hours away in the Pocono Mountains.  Check out the following links for some of the major events that take place in Delaware each year:

  15. What is the weather like?
  16. The weather in Wilmington changes with the seasons.  The winter is usually fairly cold, with at least a little bit of snow each year.  As the saying goes, the spring truly does "come in like a lion and go out like a lamb" in Delaware.  In March you are still bundled up with gloves and a scarf, but by mid April it is time to bring out the spring wardrobe and open the windows throughout your house.  The summers are usually hot with a moderate amount of humidity, and the fall is perfectly crisp with the change of seasons evidenced by the changing colors of leaves.  To find out what the weather is like in Wilmington today, check out the following link:
