1. You will earn 3 points for each $1 of net purchases made at Borders, Borders Express, Borders Outlet, Waldenbooks, and Brentano's store locations, Borders.com and Waldenbooks.com. You will earn 2 points for each $1 of net purchases made at retail establishments that classify their merchant location for Visa/MasterCard as Gas, Grocery, and Dining. Gas categories include participating service stations with and without multi-services and automated fuel dispensers. Grocery categories include participating grocery stores, supermarkets, miscellaneous food, specialty food markets, and convenience stores. Dining categories include participating eating places, restaurants and drinking places. You will earn 1 point for each $1 of all other net purchases. You do not earn points on balance transfers, cash advances, cash-like charges such as travelers checks, foreign currency, and money orders, any checks that are used to access your account, overdraft advances, interest, unauthorized or fraudulent charges, or fees of any kind, including fees for products that protect or insure the balances of your account.
