1 If you choose but do not qualify for the BP Visa, you will then automatically be considered for a BP Card, unless you have requested not to be considered for this card. The BP Card can only be used at BP locations and has different rates, fees, benefits, rewards, and credit availability. Certain restrictions, limitations, and exclusions apply for both cards. 4 You will earn a 5% rebate for each $1 of net purchases made at participating BP locations. You will earn a 2% rebate for each $1 of net purchases made at retail establishments that classify their merchant location for Visa in any of the following categories: airlines, car rental agencies, lodging establishments, and dining establishments (excluding fast food restaurants). You will earn a 1% rebate for each $1 of all other net purchases (excluding purchases made at merchants where non-BP or non-Amoco fuel is sold). For the first 60 days from your enrollment date you will earn an additional 5% rebate for each $1 of net purchases made at participating BP locations, an additional 2% rebate for each $1 of net purchases made at retail establishments that classify their merchant location for Visa in any of the following categories: airlines, car rental agencies, lodging establishments, and dining establishments (excluding fast food restaurants), and an additional 1% rebate for each $1 of all other net purchases (excluding purchases made at merchants where non-BP or non-Amoco fuel is sold). Purchases not eligible to receive the 2% rebate include, but are not limited to, purchases made at superstores, warehouse clubs, discount stores, and their affiliates. Online and catalog purchases are not eligible to receive the 2% rebate unless the merchants have correctly identified and billed the transactions. We do not determine whether merchants correctly identify and bill transactions as being made in each category. However, we do reserve the right to determine which purchases qualify for the 2% rebate. You do not earn rebates on balance transfers, cash advances, cash-like charges such as travelers checks, foreign currency, and money orders, any checks that are used to access your account, overdraft advances, interest, unauthorized or fraudulent charges, or fees of any kind, including fees for products that protect or insure the balances of your account. There is no maximum number of rebates that you can accumulate in the program. See Rewards Program Rules and Regulations, which will be mailed after your account is established.
